Crypto Accountant & Finance Automation Engineer
I build accounting infrastructure for the on-chain world — from wallet reconciliation and FIFO capital gains engines to DeFi classification frameworks and automated AR tools.

Read articleBackground
I'm Niyas Kareem, a finance professional with 15+ years of traditional accounting experience, now building a specialization at the intersection of crypto, Web3, and finance automation.
Based in Doha, Qatar, I currently manage finance operations at Qatari Italian Moka & Co — while simultaneously building open-source accounting tools for the on-chain world.
My focus: making blockchain transactions legible to accountants, and making accounting tools usable by builders. I hold the Bitwave Certified Accountant and CPBA credentials, and I'm actively targeting Web3 Finance and DAO Treasury roles.
I built CryptoLedger Pro from scratch — from a basic CSV cleaner to a modular multi-chain accounting engine — because I couldn't find a tool that thought like an accountant.
